On October 18, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Gustavo Héctor Méndez held a meeting with the Director of Coordination and Development Promotion of the Thai International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Arunee Hiam.

The encounter was scheduled in order to discuss the implementation status of the 2020/2022 Development Cooperation Program between Argentina and Thailand and so as to plan future actions.

Argentina is implementing three technical cooperation projects in Thailand, through the Argentine Fund for International Cooperation (FO.AR): generation of genetic variability in sugarcane for bioenergy (6770), development and application of technologies for the improvement of soybean production (6746) and training and establishment of an identification system for lost migrants (6716).
