Later, in his presentation, Ambassador Martino underlined the high productivity of the Argentine agricultural industry, the technological improvements incorporated in recent years and the Argentine products with the greatest potential to increase their presence in the Thai market.
Among those products he mentioned those derived from soybeans, such as oil, pellets and beans; cereals such as wheat and maize; legumes and beans, such as mung beans and peanuts; beef; seafood; and wine.
Ambassador Martino also briefed the audience on the strong economic measures implemented by President Javier Milei to solve the macroeconomic imbalances that the Argentine economy has suffered in recent years and to streamline foreign trade operations.
After Ambassador Martino, importer and trader of Argentine products in Southeast Asia Guillermo Pérez Cena, whose contribution to the Seminar we greatly appreciate, took the floor to share some views from the private sector perspective.
