On May 25, the Embassy celebrated with the community of Argentines residents in Thailand the 213th anniversary of the May Revolution, in memory of the day in 1810 when the first autonomous government from Spain was created in the territory we know today as Argentina.
In his remarks, the Argentine Ambassador Gustavo Alberto Martino thanked everyone for attending and recalled the importance of this historic event, which was the first step in the process that concluded with the declaration of independence in 1816.
During the meeting, the attendees were able to taste delicious homemade Argentine empanadas, cooked by Joyce, and the best Argentine wine.
