Argentine flavors and culture were on full display at "Southern Flavors," a trade and cultural promotion event for the countries of the Southern Hemisphere, held at Dusit D2 Samyan in Bangkok.
The event, which took place on March 24, was organized by the Chambers of Commerce and Embassies of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, New Zealand, South Africa, and Peru.
Throughout the evening, more than 150 guests enjoyed food and drinks and learned about the culture of the participating countries. Specifically, the Argentine space featured:
** Wine from eight Argentine wineries, presented by local importers Blackbird Siam, Central Retail, Italasia Trading, and Noble Marketing.
** Argentine red shrimp, presented by the seafood importer Umios.
** Beef empanadas and cornstarch alfajores, from the Argentine restaurant Don Asado Steakhouse.
** Drinks made with yerba mate, and yerba mate-related products and accessories, introduced by importer Latino Secrets.
** Information about Argentine tango classes in Bangkok, presented by Bangkok Tango.
We thank all the companies that participated in the Argentine space showcasing various Argentine products, all the event attendees, and especially Dusit D2 Samyan for the “Southern Flavors” initiative.
