On March 9, a virtual meeting was held between representatives of the Argentine company Bioceres and officials from various Thai agencies responsible for regulating products derived from agricultural biotechnology: Department of Agriculture, BIOTEC and Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

At the meeting, organized by the Argentine Embassy, ​​Bioceres voiced its interest in requesting Thai approval for its HB4 technology, consisting of drought-resistant soybean and wheat varieties.
