On June 29, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Gustavo Héctor Méndez and the Head of the Commercial Section Juan Pablo Volken held a productive meeting with Mrs. Vanida Khumnirdpetch, Director of the Bureau of International Agricultural Affairs, and her team.

During the meeting, which took place at the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand, many aspects of the bilateral agenda on trade and agricultural cooperation were discussed.

Agricultural products account for an important part of Argentine exports to Thailand. Argentina already exports wheat, soybean pellets, seafood, beef, legumes, and is negotiating the market access for new products.
