The Argentine Embassy had the honour of participating in the 5th Thailand-Latin America and the Caribbean Seminar organized by the Latin America Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, under the theme "Creative Exchange: Bridging Thai-Latin American Cultures, Building Opportunities."
On this occasion, the Head of the Economic Section Juan Pablo Volken gave a presentation to the more than 200 attendees on the creation of the Argentina Creativa Directories, which gather information on the main companies and businesses from the Argentine creative economy.
These eight digital directories —Performing Arts Producers, Art Galleries, Audiovisual Producers, Publishing Houses, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Musical Projects, and Manufacturers of Musical Instruments— are accessible from the websites of all Argentine Embassies.
Preceding the opening remarks delivered by Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Lalivan Karnchanachari, there was an opening show consisting of a tango dance by Argentine dancer Pablo Peralta and Thai tango teacher Gift Nanthanan, brought by the Argentine Embassy.
In an adjoining space to the seminar, a Thai-Latin Bazaar took place, where products from each of the Latin American countries were showcased and sold.
Argentine wine was found in three booths with the Thai-Latin Bazaar, presented by importers Italasia, IWS, and Noble Marketing. Another booth was dedicated to drinks prepared with yerba mate, presented by Hygge Mate.
