A dinner for influencers and Thai media representatives took place on July 31 at the Official Residence of the Argentine Ambassador Gustavo Alberto Martino in celebration of the award given to the Argentine winery Catena Zapata as the best in the world at the “World's Best Vineyards 2023”.

In addition to the Ambassador and the Head of the Economic Section of the Embassy Juan Pablo Volken, the representative of the importing company Independent Wines & Spirits (IWS) Carlos Bustos also participated in the event, as well as the representative for Asia of Catena Zapata, who came to Bangkok from her office in Hong Kong.

At the beginning, Ambassador Martino highlighted the potential of the Argentine wine industry and the pride it means for Argentines to have the world’s best winery in our country. Later and during the dinner, Mrs. Amaya briefed the guests on the history of Catena Zapata and unveil details of five of their top wine labels which were tasted by the guests.

We thank Catena Zapata and IWS for organizing this dinner and a big thanks goes also to Sergio Crubelli, the renowned chef of Don Asado, the most authentic Argentine restaurant in Bangkok, cooked the tasty empanadas and Argentine beef that were also served to the guests.
