On January 11, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Gustavo Méndez held a working meeting with Mrs. Jintana Chanbamrung, General Director of the Department for Women and Family Affairs of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security of Thailand.

At the meeting, both authorities shared information on the policies implemented in each country to tackle gender violence, the progress attained and the challenges ahead.

They also touched upon Argentina's National Action Plan against Gender Violence 2020-2022 and bilateral cooperation initiatives based on the Argentine experience.
