On December 21, a virtual meeting on cooperation in agricultural biotechnology took place between experts from Argentina and Thailand, arranged by the Argentine Embassy.

Representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, from Argentina, and from the Department of Agriculture, BIOTEC and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) from Thailand participated.

Argentina is a leading country in agricultural biotechnology, which helps to increase the land productivity and at the same time to preserve the quality of the soil and reduce the use of herbicides.
