On August 13, the National Directorate for International Cooperation of the Argentine Foreign Ministry and the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) met at the San Martín Palace in Buenos Aires for the 5th Planning Committee Meeting on South-South and Triangular Cooperation between Argentina and Thailand.

The objetives of the meeting were to outline the Development Cooperation Program between the two countries for the period 2025-2027 and to expand opportunities for Argentine researchers through the Thai scholarship system of the “Annual International Training Course –AITC.”

As per the results of the metting, over the next two years bilateral cooperation projects will be carried out in the areas of agribusiness (soybeans, sugarcane), livestock (foot-and-mouth disease), and forensic science, with the collaboration of the National Agricultural Technology Institute (INTA), National Service for Agri-Food Health and Quality (SENASA), and the Federal Police, further strengthening bilateral relations in the context of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Argentina and Thailand.
