On August 24, the Embassy hosted "Trade Match B2B Thailand-Argentina", a virtual event comprising simultaneous business meetings between representatives of Argentine and Thai companies co-organized by the Embassy, Argentina's Chamber of Commerce for Asia Pacific, and ICBC Foundation.

In total, 17 Argentine companies and 11 Thai companies participated, encompassing diverse sectors such as: pharmaceutical products, animal health products, legumes and pulses, seafood, and fruit juice.

In his opening remarks, Argentine Ambassador Gustavo Alberto Martino highlighted the potential of the Thai market for Argentine exporters given the complementarity of the economies of both countries, especially these days, following the formation of a new government in Thailand.
