On April 29, more than 150 guests –including wine lovers, media representatives and influencers– attended the tasting of Argentine Malbec wine organized by the Argentine Embassy in collaboration with Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit, on the occasion of the Malbec World Day (MWD) 2026

This time, guests had the chance to taste several of the finest Argentine Malbec labels supplied by twelve Thai wine importing companies: Ambrose Wine, BB&B, Blackbird Siam, Boozia Distribution, IWS, Italasia Trading, Italthai Hospitality, Noble marketing, Valentine Wine, Vanichwathana, Vinum Lector, and Wine Garage.

The Argentine Ambassador Claudio Ricardo Gutiérrez delivered the opening remarks together with the General Manager of the Hotel, Sammy Carolus.

After the opening remarks, attendees were delighted to attend a passionate tango dance performed by Pali and Marcelo Delgado, an Argentine-Thai tango couple who visited us from Sydney, where they founded the Delgado Tango Academy.

In addition to tasting the best Malbec wine, guests were treated to delicious food including Argentine Red Shrimp imported from Argentina, sourced from CP Uoriki, and authentic Argentine empanadas brought by Hero Gourmet.

Before the end of the event, a Lucky Draw took place, allowing nine lucky winners to bring home Argentine Malbec wine bottles sponsored by some of the participating Thai importing companies and other wonderful prizes sponsored by Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit.
