On March 9, Argentine Ambassador Claudio Ricardo Gutiérrez paid a courtesy call to Ms. Hataya Khusakul, Director General of the Department of American and South Pacific Affairs at the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Also attending the meeting were Chakraphan Yuwari, Director of the Latin America Division, and officers from that Division responsible for the bilateral relation with Argentina.

Both sides discussed the need to further strengthen relations bilateral relations, which have spanned over 71 years, by removing barriers to trade and tourism, and encouraging investment.

In this regard, the Ambassador highlighted the worldwide recognition of Argentine beef for its quality and safety, adding that a prompt resumption of Argentine exports to Thailand is expected.
