In commemoration of the National Tango Day, an Argentine Tango Flash Mob took place on December 11 at the M Floor of Parc Paragon, adjacent to Siam Paragon shopping mall in Bangkok, organized by Bangkok Tango, Tango Milonguero and the Rumpuree dance school, in collaboration with the Argentine Embassy and Siam Paragon.

Dozens of passers-by, surprised by the open-air dancing and captivated by the tango melodies, approached the improvised dance floor, enjoyed the show, took photos and, in many cases, joined the dance taking their first tango dance steps. A dance and musical genre born in Argentina late 19th century, tango was declared a Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2009.
