On May 26, Argentine Ambassador Gustavo Alberto Martino gave a presentation entitled "MERCOSUR-ASEAN: Economic partners for the future" at the "Seminar on Trade and Investment Opportunities in the South of Latin America with MERCOSUR", organized by the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand.

Several Thai businessmen and members of the MERCOSUR-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce (MACC) delegation, which was in Bangkok during a business mission, attended the seminar.

In addition to Ambassador Martino, other speakers were the Deputy Director General for International Trade Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce, Pornvit Sila-on; the Chairman of the International Trade Negotiations Committee of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC), Chanintr Chalisarapong; and the Global President of the MACC, Rodolfo Caffaro Kramer.
