In the last week of August the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Gustavo Héctor Méndez met with Kath Khangpiboon, founder of the Thai Transgender Alliance, and Matcha Phornin, representative of Sangsan Anakot Yawachon, a NGO that advocates the rights of the LGTBIQ+ community in Thailand.

Kath and Matcha visited the Embassy prior to their participation as civil society representatives in the Equal Rights Coalition (ERC) Global Summit, held in Buenos Aires on September 8 and 9.
